EU Matching – promotes partnership among entrepreneurs and enables them to meet face-to-face. Companies had not only an opportunity to attend a forum but also three international trade fairs: INTEL (May 2005), Transport & Logistics (October 2006), Batimat (November 2006). Sectors involved: electro-technics and electronics, transport and logistics, building.
UE Matching in Border Regions – matchmaking event enabling entrepreneurs from different countries to meet face-to-face in order to establish or facilitate business contacts. Companies had also an opportunity to visit international trade fairs in Vilnius, Tallinn, Vienna and Berlin. The organized events: BALTTECHNIKA (Vilnius), NSTRUTEC, IT’nT (Vienna), ITB (Berlin).
Arca Nova – three cooperation exchanges were organized: in the IT and telecommunications (CeBIT, Hannover, March 2005); in the food sector (CibusTEC, Parma, October 2005); in the optics, opto-electronics and in the medical technology sector (OPTATEC, Frankfurt am Main, June 2006). 21 partners from 11 countries were working together on the Arca Nova project namely Poland, Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy, Romania, Slovakia, Spain and Hungary.
Pronet (January 2005 – November 2005) – the project was geared towards the establishment of cooperation among regional business support organizations. What is more, the brochure “Services catalogue for SMEs” was issued.
Triple Helix (May 2004 – April 2006) – geared towards creating a successful model for cross-border cooperation among business support organizations, R+D sector, financial and public institutions. TH also aimed at facilitating the access to external financial resources in order to support and promote innovative start-ups.
Entrepreneurial Regions in Europe ERE (March 2006 – December 2006) – the project made it possible for entrepreneurs to express their expectations as regards the authorities. It also helped them to define their policies on entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial support (policy shaping). What is more, three panels were established under the name “Innovations - the key to companies’ development.”
